Our Comprehensive Food Safety course is very focused on real industry practices and how they relate to the changing regulations of the new food act. Participants will leave the course with a solid understanding of the new law and how it will benefit their workplace.
COURSE CONTENTS INCLUDE:
- Essential training – sickness, hand hygiene, personal hygiene, cleaning, food allergens, potentially hazardous food
- Preventing cross-contamination, waste management, pest and animal control, checking temperatures and calibrating thermometers, receiving goods, food storage
- HACCP, working under and implementing a food control plan
You will receive ITS’s Comprehensive Food Safety Certificate on successful completion of the course.
